Management Board:

DR. JÜRGEN KUTTRUFF
DR. JÜRGEN KUTTRUFF

is speaker of the management board and heads the office in Lindau. He has extensive experience at M&A-transactions with medium-sized companies as well as with those of large and globally operating corporations. During his long-standing tenure with Infineon AG he set up and managed the segment Chip Card & Security, with a sales volume of EUR 500 mn. He shares his extensive corporate finance experience by teaching at the University of St. Gallen.

MARTIN KANATSCHNIG
MARTIN KANATSCHNIG

is a member of the management board (division "Research" and "Personnel") at Aquin & Cie. AG. He specializes in mergers and acquisitions of technology oriented companies, corporate spin-offs, management buyouts as well as growth financing. Mr. Kanatschnig is an internationally experienced valuation specialist and has successfully overseen numerous mandates. Prior to joining as an M&A consultant he worked at Siemens Corporate Technology. He studied Technical Physics and "Management and International Business" at the Universities of Graz and Manchester.

DR. KARSTEN ZIPPEL
DR. KARSTEN ZIPPEL

is a member of the management board (division "Finance" and "Legal") at Aquin & Cie. AG. He specializes in M&A, value enhancement as well as all aspects of transaction financing. He also advises entrepreneurs with respect to optimizing their wealth management. Dr. Zippel has many years of experience in the area of strategic analysis and business reorganization. Besides various consulting assignments at large cap companies as well as small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), Dr. Zippel was in charge of business development at an Internet start-up he co-founded. Since 2004, Dr. Zippel holds Strategic Management lectures at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich.

Supervisory Board:

HANS KNÜRR
HANS KNÜRR

is chairman of the supervisory board of Aquin & Cie. AG. He is an acknowledged expert in the field of corporate succession. The early death of his father left him in charge of a metal-working company with 56 employees and sales of DM 700,000 at the age of 20. He turned the business into a public company (Knürr AG) present in 32 nations, employing 1.150 people and generating sales of DM 285 mn. As a result of a succession arrangement he handed over control of the company to a British management team in 2000. Hans Knürr holds seats on various advisory committees and supervisory boards and passes on his experience, among others, as adviser to Switzerland’s most successful private equity house, CapVis.

DR. RAINER REICHERT
DR. RAINER REICHERT

has many years of experience in management roles with entrepreneurial companies. He was responsible for the segment planning and international sales at F. Krupp GmbH in Essen, Germany. Dr. Reichert then headed the division corporate strategy and alliances at Daimler Benz AG in Stuttgart. Subsequently, Dr. Reichert assumed managing positions at KTR GmbH and F. Tacke KG where he became general partner. By establishing subsidiaries in eighteen countries he substantially internationalized his company while holding board member positions with thirteen European and six overseas companies. He was involved in VDMA as Chairman of the Board of the “Power Transmission Engineering” association.

Hans-Peter Metzler
Hans-Peter Metzler

is a member of the supervisory board of Aquin & Cie. AG. He is a renowned entrepreneur from the Vorarlberg region in Austria and founder of NewLogic AG, which he sold to Indian IT giant Wipro in 2005. Besides his entrepreneurial activities, Hans-Peter Metzler looks back on a successful career in international management, e.g., as head of SIEMENS Mikrocontroller in Hong Kong and Singapore. Mr. Metzler started his career as a physicist at the Max-Planck Institute of Technology and at the Corporate Research center at Siemens. He holds various supervisory and advisory board positions and is chairman of the “Friends of the Bregenz Festival” association.
